Mo046 - Montessori Sensory Taste Bottle

The Tasting Bottles are an exercise used to refine the gustatory sense or sense of taste. The bottles are prepared, by the teacher, with the basic tastes of sweet, sour, salty, and bitter.  The Child matches the taste of the liquid from each unlabeled bottle to the contents from the control bottle.  The Child could name the taste that they sample if they want to, as this will help increase their vocabulary.

Contents:

• 8 x 30ml bottles, with a dropper, each bottle stands 10.5 cm tall
  • 4  have a silver lid and 4 have a gold lid to separate the activity bottles to the control bottles
• a working wooden tray to hold the bottles, with the dimensions: 20.6 x 11 cm
